So now Obama's Top Economic Adviser is saying that people are becoming excessively fearful and that needs to be avoided. Umm gee I wonder why people might have becoming more and more fearful?
Remarks made by Pres Obama himself:
""Clearly, the situation is dire. It is deteriorating, and it demands urgent and immediate action." - Jan. 9."
"We start 2009 in the midst of a crisis unlike any we have seen in our lifetime, a crisis that has only deepened over the last few weeks." - Jan. 8, in a speech at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va."
"I want to repeat, this will not be easy. There are no shortcuts or quick fixes to this crisis, which has been many years in the making, and the economy's likely to get worse before it gets better. Full recovery will not happen immediately." - Nov. 24."
Throw in a few more 'crisis', 'unprecedented' and 'catastrophic' words and that pretty much sums up the excess of fear, does it not? The media is partly responsible as well but I have heard many comment for months that Obama is not helping the situation by repeatedly, week after week, dropping Doom and Gloom on citizens in his publicized addresses yet he continued. Why is that? Dr Phil is actually on the Sean Hannity radio show as I am typing this lol and they were just talking 10 seconds ago about how Obama's (and then the media's words) have frightened a lot of people. What a coinkydink!
